HOEDSPRUIT: Villagers rejoice as ‘terror’ lion is shot
The rogue predators have apparently been killing livestock, leaving community members seeking compensation and even revenge.
The community of Finale, outside of The Oaks are apparently rejoicing after a lion that has reportedly been ‘terrorising’ the community and local livestock in the area has been shot by Nature Conservation officials.
It is reported that rogue predators have been walking in the area for some months now and have killed a number of cattle, leaving community members furious and seeking compensation.

According to one social media post, it was even believed that, “the Rangers have been bribed by the whites from Hoedspruit which are the owners of the lions so that the lions can start feasting on humans too.”
