The Quiton Van der Burgh Foundation (QVDB), built a water well for the school with the hopes of providing clean water and solving the water challenges caused by drought to the learners and the community at large.
The foundation founded by one of South Africa’s youngest billionaires, Quiton Van der Burgh has already built 727 water wells including this one across the continent.

The initiative was supported by some of the country’s biggest celebrities who took time out of their busiest schedules to honour the initiative.
The celebrities who were present at the official unveiling ceremony included: Demi Lee Peters, Miss Universe; Pearl Thusi, Media Personality; Maps Maponyane, Media personality and Alex Caige, Radio Presenter.
“The goal of this initiative is to supply water to South African and African communities one water well at a time.
“With a strong focus on South African communities, the foundation attempts to rid our beautiful land of drought and restore dignity and health to all, “explained QVDB.
