Two local men reported missing in separate instances

Ngwako Wilson Maake (80) from Ga-Ntata Village and Lettie Gabaza Mkjabele (40) from Maake have both been reported as missing by their families.

The police in Mokwakwaila outside Tzaneen have launched a search operation after an elderly gentleman, Ngwako Wilson Maake (80) from Ga-Ntata Village was reported missing by his family.

According to investigations conducted by the police, Maake was last seen by his family on the morning of March 16 at his home.

It is reported that he went to nearby bushes to fetch herbs or traditional medicine and never returned.

A search operation by the police composed of the search and rescue team, a K9 unit and members of the community has since been on but without positive results thus far.

At the time of disappearance the man was wearing a grey woolly jersey, yellow T-shirt, black trousers and a blue hat.

Meanwhile, the police in Maake outside Tzaneen have launched a massive search operation after the disappearance of Lettie Gabaza Mkjabele (40) who was last seen by his mother on Friday, March at their place of residence.

Lettie Gabaza Mkjabele (40) is reported missing.

Further investigations conducted by the police revealed that the man was seen moving around Gabaza and Burgesdorp villages in Maake heading towards Carlota clinic.

Some of the clothes the victim was wearing during the time of his disappearance includes a grey and brown T-shirt and brown leather sandals.
