Giyani’s new mall to open at the end of April next year
Giyani's new mall, scheduled to open at the end of April next year, is slowly taking shape and the whole community is anxiously awaiting the array of new shops, a movie theatre and other facilities on offer at the "new" Masingita Mall.
Masingita Mall will see a 30 000m² extension to the existing 12 000m² mall, located on the corner of First Road and Giyani Main Road.
The total GLA of 42 000m².
Masingita Mall is well located within the heart of the town, the extension will be located on the property adjacent to Masingita Mall extending the centre up until Shimati Road.

The existing Masingita Mall is directly serviced by Giyani’s Taxi Rank providing long and short distance commuters ease of access to the retail hub of the town.
The extension will connect to the existing Taxi Rank and provide over 1 200 parking bays all on-grade.
The mall opens up to the riverine that runs from the north eastern side through to the south western side of the site.
This is where the hub of the centre is and where the entertainment and food court is situated.
The centre will remain on one level anchored by Shoprite, Boxer & Game as well as a number of fashion outlets, amongst others, the Foschini Group, the Pepkor Group, the Edcon Group, Truworths Group and Woolworths.
The design allows for a place of celebration and collective gathering, and affirms community and family life.
Families will enjoy a host of new restaurants, cinemas and a community driven theatre where local talent can be showcased.
