BREAKING: Boy (10) drowns after heavy rains in Phalaborwa

The young boy was playing with friends when he drowned in a muddy ditch.

A young boy, aged 10, drowned yesterday afternoon in Lulekani, near Phalaborwa.

It is reported that the boy was playing with friends in muddy ditches at a housing construction site when he disappeared under the water and did not resurface.

The friends of the young boy ran off to seek help but nothing could be done to save him.
