Herald asked Dawie van Niekerk, Sales Executive at Lannie Motors about what is different about the new Polo.

“VW have now brought out an automatic option for the Comfortline. Previously, only the Highline option was available in automatic,” he went on to say, “the engine is completely new and more fuel efficient.”

The power output is also greatly improved, the previous Trendline and Comfortline had a 66kW output but this has been improved to a 70kW output.

Additionally, the Highline output has been increased from 81Kw to 85Kw.

The launch was a great success, with Lannie Motors receiving a lot of positive feedback and some new applications were filled out by customers on the day.
