LETSITELE: Library takes part in ‘Nalíbali’ campaign

The Letsitele library participated in the "Read aloud campaign ", a yearly initiative by the Nal'ibali organization.

Julia Mokoena (second from the right) is the principal of the pre-school and was very pleased with the campaign to familiarize children with reading, thus preparing them for future prospects.

This year’s ‘Read aloud’ day was on 1 February 2018.

Nal’ibali is a Isixhosa word for “here is the story”, it is a national reading for enjoyment campaign to spark children’s potential through storytelling and reading.

This year, all participants were requested to read a story entitled “The final minute” by Zukiswa Wanner to the children.
