Four people were injured late last night when a bakkie crashed into a tree in Park Street around 22:00.

“ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene to find a bakkie on the side of the road against a tree. Two men and two women were found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all four had sustained minor to moderate injuries. The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Van Velden Provincial Hospital for further treatment,’ Russel Meiring from ER24 said.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
