TZANEEN: Mediclinic access control soon to be in place

Patient safety has always been and will remain one of the top priorities of Mediclinic Tzaneen.

‘Mediclinic Tzaneen takes responsibility for the safety of visitors to our patients, our doctors and our staff members,’ Zane Fanie,  Mediclinic’s General Manager said in a statement.

As part of this responsibility, Mediclinic Tzaneen will soon introduce a new and improved access control to its premises and they request members of the public to appreciate and respect these new measures.

Mediclinic Tzaneen will no longer allow the public to use its premises as a public road and a drive through between its entrance in Douglas Street and its main entrance from the ring road above the Lifestyle Mall.

‘Traffic through the Mediclinic Tzaneen premises poses a safety threat to our patients, their visitors, our doctors and our staff members and increases the level of noise pollution,’ Fanie stated.

Patients and visitors to Mediclinic Tzaneen will be required to collect tokens from the hospital reception upon leaving the premises that will enable them to exit through the automated gates.

Mediclinic Tzaneen respectfully requests the co-operation of the public in this matter.
