HOEDSPRUIT: Smile with newly found confidence
Born in the heart of the Karoo, Dr Adriaan Louw is the new dental surgeon in town.
“I grew up in Stellenbosch, where I attended school at Paul Roos Gymnasium. Then furthered my education and studied Dentistry at the University of the Western Cape where I acquired my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.Ch.D, UWC). Following that, I decided to relocate to the Lowveld in order to experience new challenges, be in a new places and meet new people,” Louw told the Herald.
Dr Louw then proceeded to work at Tintswalo hospital where he gained a lot of experience relating to oral surgery and trauma.
“ I am not the ‘white coat dentist’ people feared to go to 20 years ago, I pride myself in having a surgery where patients are comfortable, where they can relax, and afterwards admire the work that myself and they are happy to show the world,” added Louw.
Dr Louw has joined Dr Alex van Eeden and they both practice at the Hoedspruit family medical centre, where patients know that they are receiving quality treatment, at a practice that prides itself by word of mouth referrals.
“I see myself as a hard working, dedicated and loyal person, therefore I believe that everyone has a choice and control over who they can be. In short, be the best version of yourself.”
