Hoedspruit SAPS Women Network plans Christmas party for Orphans

The South African Police Service (SAPS) Women Network in Hoedspruit together with local businesses, are planning to host a Christmas party for orphans on 07 December.

They are appealing to all community members to take the tags on Christmas trees at the local Spar and Pick ‘n Pay, to buy what the kids have wished for this Christmas.

We will also be celebrating to mark our 10th anniversary, which we consider to be a milestone.

For the past 10 years, the network has been able to contribute positively to the community and help change the lives of many young children in Hoedspruit.

Sergeant Livhuwani Mulaudzi and Natasha from Pick ‘n Pay, behind them is the Christmas tree where you can get a tag to buy gifts for the orphans.

The first annual orphan Christmas party was organised in 2007 by Hoedspruit SAPS women network in partnership with the local businesses in Hoedspruit.

“We really appreciate the support that the business owners and farmers have given to us since we started this project, so we are once more pleading to the community for their support by taking the tags and buying disadvantaged children gifts to make their Christmas extra special,” concluded Sergeant Livhuwani Mulaudzi.
