TZANEEN: #KeepTheDream need your help to keep their dreams alive

For the last 10 years KeepThe Dream196 has been officially operating in and around Greater Tzaneen Municipality working with over 7 000 orphaned and vulnerable children.

The program is a life skills program which seeks to assist children to overcome difficult life circumstances by building resilience and leadership skills within a Rights Based Framework.

Through their efforts they have reduced teenage pregnancy from 13% in Limpopo to 0.07% within the program.

They have a 91% matriculation pass rate over the past 10 years where the Limpopo Department of Education is 64%.

They have seen a number of children successfully graduate from university as doctors, nurses, engineers, physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists to name but a few.

They have been able to offer internships to youth who have further developed their work readiness skills within their programs and also been able to provide some youth with employment.

Only one child has been involved with the police on a negative basis out of 7,000 children.

But their program is working however, and now they need the help from the people of Greater Tzaneen.

”We are need of financial support. We are asking for business’s and individuals to come alongside and donate towards the work that we do on a monthly basis. No amount is too small or too large. We are able to give tax certificates for donations given. Please consider making a donation, we are a crime prevention program as well,’ the organisation humbly asked.
