HOEDSPRUIT: CemAir takes off to Hoedspruit

After 12 years of safe soaring through South African skies, CemAir has finally decided to bring their planes to our beloved town of Hoedspruit.

CemAir is a privately owned scheduled and non-scheduled domestic and international aviation company that is based at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

CemAir has never before landed at Hoedspruit, but on August 1 they undertook the decision to launch daily flights between Cape Town and Hoedspruit.

The flights differ in cost with prices dependant on departure point, date, and whether or not there are any specials available at the time.

The flights will be scheduled to depart from Cape Town at 12:00 and then to arrive in Hoedspruit at 14:15. The return flight will then depart from Hoedspruit at around 14:30 and arrive in Cape Town around 16:45.

CemAir does have more route launches in the pipeline, specifically between Hoedspruit and Johannesburg.

Nicolene Myburgh, the airline’s head of scheduled services, told the Herald, “We are also considering flights between Johannesburg and Hoedspruit.”

If you wish to fly CemAir to Cape Town, feel free to visit their website, www.flycemair.co.za , and get that flight booked for the next family vacation.
