The finalists were announced at the Top 18 Round in Cape Town on Sunday July 23.
The competition was tough, but the recipes of Mathebula, James Lebepe from Atteridgeville in Gauteng and Queen Mathebule from Malamulele outside Giyani proved to be a cut above the rest.
According to the competition organisers, the top three recipes will be available in Shoprite and Checkers supermarkets nationwide between Friday, August 18 and Friday, September 8.
