The project is called ‘Bona tsela’ and it was launched in Tzaneen from July 03- 07 at Mini-Tzani.

The kids were basically given bicycles to use for the whole day and were also taught all the traffic laws a nd road signages.

“We wanted to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays and to also teach them the traffic laws and basic road signages .

We are trying to teach them to be law abiding citizens law from a young age,” said Neville Ndlala, Spokesperson of GTM.

The kids were also provided with cakes and snacks.

This week the project will be in Tickey Line in the Maake area.

Ndlala added that it is another way for the municipality to save a child’s live on the road.
