Standfordians tackles Shikwaru DebtSafe MTB Challenge

The Shikwaru DebtSafe MTB Challenge was held on the Shikwaru Game Lodge property near Mokopane on Saturday, May 6.

MTB: SLC's Matthew Wilkinson (35km): 3rd in his category in 1 hr 25 mins during the Shikwaru DebtSafe MTB Challenge held recently.

A group of Stanfordians took part in the various distances: 10km, 35km and 70km which covered single track, game trails, jeep track and gravel road.

Results: Jason Freestone (10km): 5th in his category in 24 minutes, Matthew Wilkinson (35km): 3rd in his category in 1 hr 25 mins, Ani Gutierrez-Hernandez (35km): 1st in her category in 1 hr 35 mins and Danica Altenroxel (35km): 3rd in her category in 1 hr 54 mins.

Thanks to Shikwaru for hosting all the cyclists, all the sponsors including DebtSafe and all the organisers who made this event possible. They are looking forward to the rest of the season.
