TZANEEN: A little dirt never hurt anybody

No doubt this event will become an annual event on the Tzaneen Care Group’s calendar.

Based on this idea, the DIRT DASH was born.

The Tzaneen Care Group approached Jane Allison at Magoebaskloof Adventures to assist with this messy fundraiser.

She didn’t hesitate and an exciting and challenging 12-obstacle route was designed by the Magoebaskloof Adventures team.

The day saw lots of excitement and a wonderful display of comeradie.

Cancer is not pretty, nor is it easy.

We challenged Tzaneeners to put together teams, to step out of their comfort zone and to support the Tzaneen Care Group and help us to support those fighting cancer.

The day saw lots of excitement and a wonderful display of comraderie.

Teams were asked to dress up and did not disappoint.

Getting dirty was the name of the game!

Team names were imaginative. All approached the set obstacle courses with grit and determination.

Unless your idea of “comfort” is mud, then every participant was way out of their comfort zone and tested with every obstacle.

With the help of team-mates and fellow participants, the obstacles were overcome and the arduous journey completed … nobody gave up!

The spectators encouraged wall climbs, mud crawls and sliding down the famous mud slip!

A lively MC made the day all the more fun.

Yasmeen Moosa, Chairlady and Director said that the ladies of the Tzaneen Care Group approached this event with a positive attitude based on the knowledge that the Tzaneen community has always been very supportive of all Tzaneen Care Groups fundraisers.

We had set a target for the day and once again, we were not disappointed. Thank you Tzaneen,

Tzaneen Care Group will be using the funds raised to renovate the patient rooms at the Tzaneen Cancer Care Centre.

Lets get dirty, and so they did.

Once again the continued operation of the Tzaneen Care Group and the Tzaneen Cancer Care Centre is due to the community support.

No doubt this event will become an annual event on the Tzaneen Care Group’s calendar.

Team mates and fellow participants complete the journey.
