DRUG BUST: Drugs worth thousands confiscated outside Tzaneen

During the arrest the following drugs were recovered, 19 grams of cat, 12 units of cocaine and 102 grams of tick.

A 34 year old man was arrested for possession of drugs estimated at a street value of R58 000 at Mokgoloboto village on Saturday.

This follows a clean-up operation by the Ritavi Crime prevention, Politsi K9 Unit and the Tzaneen Cluster Crime Intelligent focussing on the mushrooming of drugs.

Police investigations are still continuing.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, said the clean-up operations are still continuing until all the hotspots areas throughout this province are demolished.
