RAF want to assist road crash victims in Tzaneen and Phalaborwa

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) invites road crash victims, and their dependents or family members in Tzaneen and Phalaborwa to lodge their claims directly with the Fund at local state hospitals.

According to Linda Rulashe: RAF Senior Manager Media and Public Relations, on the day, the Phalaborwa and Tzaneen community will be encouraged to directly register new claims, consolidate required compliance documents, ask general claims queries, and report alleged cases of misconduct against corrupt personal injury attorneys, including touts who defraud unsuspecting claimants.

Rulashe said RAF staff from the Limpopo office will provide the highest standard of service to those injured during or affected by road crashes.

“We are here to make a difference in the lives of claimants, families and victims of road crashes. Claimants are requested to bring their ID documents to enquire about their claims. People claiming for the first time are required to have case numbers, accident reports, hospital records, an affidavit stating circumstances of the accident, vehicle registrations and contact numbers of all parties involved in the motor vehicle accident.” said Dineo Thabede, Pretoria Regional General Manager of RAF.
