BOLOBEDU: Long jail terms for criminals

The police  in Bolobedu are working tirelessly to ensure that criminals face the full might of the law by making sure that they get long jail terms.

Two accused were given hefty sentences, one was sentenced to life imprisonment and the other 15 years imprisonment without an option a fine on Monday.
The first one is  a 28 year- old man from Ditshosing village who was sentenced to life imprisonment for rape by the Tzaneen Regional Court .
The incident occurred  in June 2014 where the accused took a six  year old girl to the nearby bushes and raped her.
In another incident, a 26 year-old  woman from Motsinoni village was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment without an option a fine for murder.
The sentence comes after Malehu Linah Molete, strangled her eight months old son, Kamogelo Molete, to death. According to police spokesperson, Lieutenant  Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the incident happened in December 2014 at her paternal home.
The police management have warmly welcomed this sentences with both hands and also commended the Bolobedu detectives on the hard work they have discharged until they acquired this long jail terms.
