Hoedspruit Animal Outreach Drive
Hoedspruit Animal Outreach (HALO) launched their very ambitious Drive to have a Christmas gift for each of the dogs that regularly attend their fortnightly outreaches at Manoutsa.
78 Christmas tags with a photo of the dog and a little story about them were displayed on Christmas trees in Pick n Pay, Spar and ProVet Wildlife Services.
Over 530kg of food, bowls, treats, beds & blankets were generously provided for by the people of Hoedspruit, with sponsors also coming in from Canada, Australia, Ireland, France and Austria, and were received with wide-eyes by the dog owners who couldn’t believe that people would care so much for their dogs!
HALO would like to thank everybody that made this a Christmas to remember for the Manoutsa dogs and their owners #TogetherWeCanMakeADifference
