These suspects were arrested in various places around the Bolobedu policing area.
“Suspects were arrested during the festive season’s operation Nyaka Nyaka which was led by Colonel Mahlaola who promotes zero tolerance to crime”, said Bolobedu Police spokesperson Constable Millicent Mohale.
Tavern owners who also did not comply with liquor Act were arrested during the festive season.
“We saw a decrease assault cases as well as car accidents”, she further stated
Police presence was visible all over the Bolobedu policing area as the patrolled the Modjadji plaza to help reduce fraud and shoplifting as well as other various crimes and no case was reported in the area.
