Kenny Mawila, founder of Phenomenal Rush Entertainment and his colleagues place drop boxes at Chicken Kwasa next to Rishile complex in Nkowankowa township to collect items which will be given to local orphanage homes.
The campaign started on Monday and will end on Thursday December 16, and it starts from 09:00 to 16:00 each day.
“The community’s response is overwhelming from the grannies to the young people, they are all responding well,” said Mawila.
The events company manages 16 local artists which include gospel star, Pearl Mabuza, and rapper Blackmind.
“Lets continue making a difference in the lives of the reachable disadvantaged, we may not be able to help every life but at least to the very few who can reach,” Mawila explained.
Mawila added that he would like to thank Xolani Mthembi, the owner of Chicken Kwasa, the place where they are hosting the campaign.
