Basadi operation against abuse

The Tzaneen cluster fights raid the community in honour for 16 days of Activism against women and child abuse.

Female police officers from throughout the cluster which consist of Lenyenye, Ritavi, Lestitele, Maake, Mokwakwaila, and Modjadji, were patrolling and doing roadblocks for three days.

The campaign began last Wednesday until Friday, where the officers were visible at every corner of the cluster, distributing pamphlets about 16 days of activism.

“The campaign was a great success and we did the operation to show the community that we do not only arrest people but we are part of the community,” said Sergeant Yvonne Moyana.

During the three day operation two suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property detained at Bolobedu SAPS cells.
