This according to Hannes Steyn from the Mopani Disaster Management Centre.
‘We are expecting normal thunderstorms and rain for the next three days. A weather system is approaching Limpopo from Botswana and there is a 60% change of rain over the province for Saturday. The rain system will subside by Sunday and there is only a 30% chance of rain,’ Steyn told the Herald.
If the predictions on the cards are accurate the Mopani district, which includes Tzaneen, Phalaborwa, Gyani, Hoedspruit and Modjajdiskloof can expect long awaited rain.
‘Rain is specifically indicated for the Mopani area,’ Steyn said.
