Tzaneen SAPS Operation Clean-up cracking down on crooks

The Joint-Intelligence-Led-Operation composed of the Tzaneen Crime Intelligence and Maake Detectives was conducted on November 3, focusing on a trio of crimes at Balloon village in the Maake Policing area.

During this operation, three suspects aged 20, 25 and 30 were arrested for a series of business robberies in the Maake Policing area.

One firearm revolver P38 with three cartridges was recovered and the arrested suspects will appear before Lenyenye Magistrate Court soon.

Police investigations are still continuing.

Meanwhile another joint operation in the Province was conducted by the Seshego Cluster Task Team and Crime Intelligent on November 5 at 04:00 around Seshego, Mankweng and Polokwane focusing on a trio of crimes.

During this operation one suspect aged 35 years old was arrested.

He was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and two other firearms with two magazines and 09 live ammunition that was hidden inside the music system. The firearms were confiscated.

The suspect will appear before Seshego Magistrate Court soon and the investigations are still continuing.
