Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality: Administrative Officer Vacancy

Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality with its seat in Phalaborwa, invites applications from suitable, experienced and dynamic individuals.

It is their intent to promote diversity in terms of race, gender and disability in the filling of the following position: Administrative Officer- Office of the speaker.

The vacancy is a level 8 post, with reference number MM 16/01/10 and a basic salary of R171, 993.50- R195, 384.24 per annum.

Requirements include a Grade 12 certificate, Secretarial/ Typing or equivalent, Computer literacy certificate, Customer Care Certificate,

Three years working experience and preparedness to be subjected to security clearance.

Duties involve; To act as a receptionist in the office of the speaker, receiving guests, visitors and the public and directing them to relevant offices in the same departments. Acting as appointment secretary in the office of the speaker, assisting the speaker and the chief whip and all councillors with all their mails and administration, act as an administrative link between the office of the speaker, chief-whip, Municipal Manager and the Office of the Mayor, Entertain the visitor in the office of the speaker and chief-whip, type reports and issue agendas for meetings and perform any other duties that may be required by the speaker and chief whip.
