Tzaneen: Armed robbery at internet café

Thousands of rands were robbed shortly before midnight at an internet café in Tzaneen last night.

According to Marius Jacobs, Northern Security responded to the armed robbery at the internet cafe.

‘Two suspects entered the business premises, one was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded cash and fled the scene with thousands of rand’s. The suspects fled in a silver BMW and no registration number is available,’ Jacobs said.

Jacobs told the Letaba Herald that the café was full of patrons at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were sustained.
