Suspected stolen properties recovered

Bolobedu police detectives recovered suspected stolen properties on Friday at Mapolankeng village, outside Kgapane.

This comes after Masiapata Mmadira of Las Vegas section opened a case of housebreaking and theft on Thursday.

According to Bolobedu police spokesperson, Constable Millicent Mohale, the complainant spotted the accused, Zimbabwean national Abel Zhou and alerted the police who responded immediately.

Zhou took the police to his rented room in Mapolankeng village, on arrival his accomplice Vudzijena Emmanuel, also from Zimbabwe ran away leaving his wife behind.

Suspected stolen property to the value of R45 000 were recovered inside the rented room.

Some of the recovered items include plasma televisions, cell phones, hand bags, phone chargers, television remotes, blankets, clothes and school feeding milk.

Mohale said a case of possession of suspected stolen properties has been opened and police investigations are continuing.
