LOL with Karabo as he is ‘Living out Loud’

Karabo Sekgale co-founder of 'Living Out Loud' online publication, aims to help change the perception of young peoples lives.

This initiative targets the youth from Ga-Modjadji and the surrounding areas, by encouraging them that their background does not determine their future.

This magazine and fundraising initiative not only helps reduce crime and substance abuse in communities but also encourages students who have dropped out from various institutions to continue with their studies.

The currently unemployed University of Limpopo graduate Karabo and his team, hope to create change by uplifting communities and trying to create employment through the Living out loud project.

This project was started with no resources, but their love and passion inspired them to motivate unemployed youth in these communities.

“I have had the privilege to work with the best team, it is very easy to work with people who share the same vision as you. My team is one of a kind and our duty is to showcase the talents, abilities, dreams and achievements of our fellow youth”, says Lerato Mathye co-founder of Living Out Loud.

The new on-line magazine ‘Living out Loud.’

The Living out Loud publication calls out to the Local government, local business owners and other stakeholders to help them raise funds in order for them to sustain this initiative.

“While working with Living Out Loud I look forward to seeing what really goes into writing an article and making a complete and enticing magazine, I admire Karabo’s drive to start this magazine and hope to continue learning from him”, stated Junior Sebilimetsa, Graphic designer for Living Out Loud.

Living Out Loud has currently entered a Thobela FM youth project competition and hopes to win the cash prize of R10 000 which will assist them in developing the community at large.
