He still remembers his Sunday school days when he use to love going to church because the Sunday School choir will be given an opportunity to sing.

“I started singing at the age of 8 while I was still in Sunday school,”said the joyful Moshole.

He is currently a chorus leader at church (Kgapane Emmanuel Assembly of God).

Moshole has now recorded a gospel album titled “Masungula ya nga” meaning my beginning.

He said the title of his debut album was motivated by the challenges he faced in life.

His upbringing was not so smooth and he said he is thankful for his mother’s support.

“If it was not for my mother I would not have achieved a lot of things. She raised me alone with the money she made from dress making. She made sure I went to school everyday,” he said.

Moshole was born and raised in Maphalle by his single mother, Mmakoma Letshwana and he was the only child.

He started school at Pipa Primary School and did his high school studies up to grade 11 at Mokgoletsa High School in 1999.

He then went to Gauteng province to work as a security guard from 2001-2006.

He then came home to work as a security guard at Politsi Northern Timber from 2012-2015. Late last year he realised that he has been neglecting his love for music.

“I decided to record my first album, I have always loved music since from my young days. I am a die hard gospel fan,” he said.

Moshole said his challenge as an upcoming local artist is lack of equipment to help promote his music.

“I am sometimes unable to go to gigs because I don’t have enough equipments. Anyone willing to help with equipments such as a keyboard, speakers, microphones, amplifier and a mixer is welcomed to do so,” he said.

He can be contacted on 073 205 6624/072 489 0104.
