Good is the new bad

They sing, they dance and they will definitely bedazzle you.

What am I talking about, you ask?

Ben Vorster High School is proud to present their production “Good is the new bad”!

The revue will be performed on April 12 to April 14 and it will be bigger and better than ever.

Letaba Herald spoke to the organizer, René Mynhardt, to find out what the community can look forward to.

This year they did it a little bit differently and asked the kids, who will be the stars of the night, what they would like to do.

With so many great ideas and suggestions, they have created something truly unique that is relevant in the lives of teenagers.

With a group of almost 300 diverse children in the play, one can only imagine how thrilling it will be.

See, King Beast and Queen Belle marry and unite all the kingdoms into the United States of Auradon, where they are elected the leaders of the new idyllic kingdom. All of the villains, sidekicks, and accomplices are forced, after their defeat, to live imprisoned. on the Isle of the Lost, a forbidden island surrounded by a magical barrier that inhibits magic and escape.

Prince Ben, the teenage son of King Adam and Queen Belle, is about to ascend the throne.

His first official proclamation offers a chance for four selected trouble-making teenage children of villains from the Isle of the Lost, to live among them in Auradon and attend Auradon Prep. He chose: Carlos, son of Cruella De Vil; Jay, son of Jafar; Evie, daughter of The Evil Queen; and Mal, daughter of Maleficent. (“Rotten to the Core”)Adam is at first unwilling to go with it, because their parents commited unspeakable crimes.

Maleficent sends the four children to a school with iconic heroes and they are under intense pressure to regain the power that once belonged to them.

Can they do it?
