Ramaphosa visits local church

Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa visited the Don’t Blame God International Ministries Church at Mandlakadzi in N'wamitwa on Sunday.

Ramaphosa was visiting Tzaneen area on Sunday as part of a campaign to encourage the locals to register to vote during the forthcoming local government elections.

Addressing the congregants and the visitors, Ramaphosa commended the church leaders for their commitment to the community developments initiatives.

The church is partnering with the Department of Correctional Services and Social Development to develop the community.

They are building houses for the needy members of the community and also providing water.

He promised to come back to the area to hold a youth expo aimed at empowering the youth with knowledge.

He was accompanied by the Chief of Vhaloyi Tribe, Phyllia N’wamitwa, MEC for Public Works, Jerry Ndou, MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Seaparo Sekoati; Member of Parliament, Ruth Bengu; Executive Mayor of Mopani, Nkakareng Rakgoale and the mayor of Greater Tzaneen, Dikeledi Mmetle.
