Tzaneen woman finds suspect in her bedroom

A woman's home was invaded by a suspect in King Edward Street on Tuesday afternoon.

It is alleged that the burglar gained entry through the doggy door while the the victim was on the phone outside.

According to Marius Jacobs, a security guard at Northern Security, the woman was alone at home.

After she ended the phone call she went back into the house and locked the doors.

Her dogs started growling in the direction of her bedroom.

When she entered the bedroom the suspect leaped from behind the bed and grabbed her by her throat.

He led her through the house and took various belongings.

The suspect locked up the victim in the bathroom and warned her if she makes a noise he will come back.

He then left the house and the woman called for help through the bathroom window.

The woman was unharmed.
