Scorching heatwave here

Tzaneen and surrounds can expect a scorching 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday as the heat wave continue, according to Accuweather.

The rest off South Africa is set for a record-breaking heat wave, with temperatures expected to surpass 40-degrees Celsius in some areas.

The South African Weather Service says that people should gear themselves for energy sapping degrees.

With temperatures expected to reach in excess of forty three degrees in parts of the country, residents are urged to use water sparingly.

Rain is however expected over the weekend for Tzaneen, with considerable lower temperatures.
