According to Marius Jacobs of Northern Security, the men tied up the gardener and threatened him with a knife.
He added that they gained entry by breaking the main bedroom’s window.
“They broke the window and ransacked the house. Just before the robbery the guard spoke to the gardener on his patrol rounds and asked for water. When he returned, he could not get hold of the gardener, he started investigating and found the gardener tied up,” Jacobs said.
He also praised the police for their quick response and the station commander for visiting the scene.
There was no injuries and no arrests have been made.
