CHoiCe Trust asks for support for Mandela day

July 18 is a day to recognize the legacy of Nelson Mandela through donating 67 minutes in making a difference to communities.

CHoiCe Trust is kindly seeking support from your company to purchase blankets to donate to Hossana Old Age Home and surrounding communities in the Mariveni village as part of commemorating the day.

Established in 1997, CHoiCe Trust mission is to engage and collaborate with vulnerable communities and key stakeholders to identify well-being needs with CHoiCe facilitating health action for change. It provides Comprehensive Health Care services to the rural communities in the Limpopo Province.

Through outreach activities, which include work on hospice care, work with children, the elderly, and other vulnerable community members and work with home-based caregivers, CHoiCe ensures services which provide for the various health needs from a holistic basis.

The Nelson Mandela Day calls out for people everywhere to celebrate his legacy by acting on the idea that each person has the power to change the world. It is against this background that CHoiCe seeks partnership with your company in the purchase of blankets which will be donated to elderly community members who form part of an Old Age Support Group in Mariveni village.

CHoiCe welcomes partners in the initiative to join the staff of the organization in handing over the blankets to the Old Age Support Group on Mandela Day, spending at least 67 minutes with some elderly community members and visiting homes of those who are not able to leave their houses.

CHoiCe invites all interested businesses to take part and add value to this meaningful initiative.

Businesses are therefore being invited to assist in (a) donating blankets to the elderly; and (b) joining the organisation in visiting the elderly beneficiaries on Mandela Day.

Interested parties can contact the CHoiCe Trust offices at (015) 307 6329 or email nikki@choicetrust.co.za.

CHoiCE Trust look forward to working with you to honor the elderly in our rural communities and together contribute towards a worthwhile effort in honour of Madiba.
