According to the police spokesperson, Constable Glenda Maimele, Sekiti Ngoamorei residing at Flora Park Tzaneen, was last seen at School (Unity Primary) on Tuesday last week.
Maimele said the boy’s father told the police that earlier this year he agreed with his son, that he will take him to initiation school during these winter school holidays but he is surprised now that there is information from the school that a woman calling herself as Sekiti’s aunty has been contacting the school, saying that Sekiti is complaining about his father wanting to send him to initiation school and he does not want to go there.
It is alleged that on Tuesday last week, a teacher called Sekiti from the staff room in order to check the assignment she gave him and after that he did not go back to class.
“The father is saying that Sekiti never complained about going to initiation school, they even agreed on what he is going to buy for him after the initiation school. He was not even aware of the person who is contacting the school,” said Maimele.
