The successful event was held at Giyani Community Hall.
There was never a dull moment with the entertaining MC’s for the day, Abigail Maswanganyi from Hlanganani fm and Wills of Radio Turf.
The event’s organizer, Brain Mhangwana of Mpangele Entertainment said he is happy about the turn out and he added that regardless of the challenges the event was a success.
Ntsetselelo Mkansi was announced as Miss Mopani 2015, Phumzile Mathaba, first princess and Ntshuxeko Mongwe was announced, second princess.
Miss Mopani said she feels honoured and excited to have been named Miss Mopani. ‘To me this is more than a title. It is more of a challenge for me to live up to my work. I am looking forward to working with the princesses, together we can do more. I would like to thank Mpangele Entertainment for this opportunity and my family for their support,’ she said.
She added that this year is about changing and touching lives. Dj Rabs Vhafuwi, Little Troy, Dr Morwana and Divine entertained the crowd. The top five was dressed by Eva Nkuna while the Judges rocked Nico Style.
Mhangwana said he would like to thank all the sponsors and his crew for making the event happen. He said municipalities and local businesses must start investing in events of such nature. ‘It is hard doing community work without sufficient support,’ he concluded.
