Police in Maake have launched a massive manhunt for suspects who killed a 30 year old man at Lenyenye Township along the industrial road on Saturday night.
It is alleged that the body of the deceased was found lying along the street with serious multiple stab wounds all over his body. The circumstances on how he was killed are not yet known. “The deceased is identified as Vusi Mkhari from Mhlaba Cross and he was a worker at a mortuary in Lenyenye. The suspects in this matter are still unknown. Anyone with information about the death of this man and identification of the suspects can contact the nearest police station or Lieutenant Colonel Cecil Machimane on 072 532 1725 or the SAPS crime stop number 08600 10111 for 24 hours” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.
Police investigations are still continuing.
In another incident, police in Modjadjisklooof are investigating the death of a 43 year old Peter Rasodi which occurred at Westfalia Estate outside Modjadjiskloof on Saturday. The deceased was on duty when a large pole fell on top of him while the bell machine was busy loading poles into a truck. He sustained serious injuries all over his body. An ambulance was called to the scene and conveyed him to hospital where he was certified dead on arrival. A case of culpable homicide was opened and police investigations are continuing.
