Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the luggage was found by a passer-by on Friday on the Polokwane and Mooketsi Road near Soekmekaar Cross. “Inside the luggage, there is a South African identity book with names of Sechaba Mohale Johannes born in 1966,” Ngoepe said.
He added that there was also a school bag, red meat, clothing, dvd’s, cell phone battery, liquor, groceries and vegetables.
Up to now, no one knows what happened to the owner of the luggage.
A bank statement was also found and it showed that there were three cash withdrawals at Maponya mall in Soweto (October 16 between 16h50 and 17:00)
Any person, who knows this man by his id book, can go to Modjadjiskloof Police Station and see Captain Baloyi or Captain Botha.
