AfriForum release video of Malema brawl
AfriForum are assisting a resident of Tzaneen in pressing charges against EFF-leader Julius Malema.
AfriForum released a video showing an altercation between EFF-leader Julius Malema and a patron of a fast food restaurant in Tzaneen.
The incident occured on August 6 when Cassie Moller’s wife placed an order at the restaurant while he waited for her outside. He later went in to find out why their order was taking so long. The video shows him speaking to someone not in the frame. Malema then enters the restaurant and is seen shouting at and pushing Moller.
According to Moller, Malema repeatedly called him a “boer” and shoved him out of the restaurant.
AfriForum assisted Moller in pressing charges of common assault, intimidation and crimen injuria against Malema.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Ronèl Otto confirmed the case has been opened and investigations will now commence.
