The workers, mostly members of South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) are protesting over salary disparities.
It is alleged that striking workers man handed and intimidated non-striking workers into joining them.

Dit is nie dat ons plaaslike Munisipaliteit werklik aktief werksaam is nie. Hierdie fotos is van mense wat nie wil werk nie maar wat meer geld wil genereer. Daar is soveel mense wat graag vir die Munisipaliteit sal werk sonder al hierdie nonsens. Die tuine en fonteine om hierdie eens pragtige gebou is n skande. Niks word in stand gehou nie…..
