Sedibe wins golf challenge

A local golfer, Nathi Sedibe, won category A of the ANC 108 Anniversary Golf Challenge with 39 points at Tzaneen Country Club recently.

Sedibe, who is a member of the Baobab Golf Club, outsmarted 67 other golfers from all over the country to claim the title.

Phillip Ndlovu came in second with 35 points, Clive Korope came third, also with 35 points. Leo Gama and Benjamin Mathebula both scored 33 points.

Freddy Sekgota won the B category with 36 points whilst Nola Peceur won the ladies category with 29 points.

Female golfers.

The winners in all categories received golf push carts, second prizes were golf bags, third prizes rifle golf bags, fourth prizes umbrellas and golf balls and the fifth prizes were office putting sets.

The closest to the pin winners each received 24 golf balls while the longest day winners received 12 chrome soft balls.
