The local team comprising of the team’s management, Vakhegula and Vakhalabye came to the neighbouring country in great numbers in full support of the launch.
Vakhalabye played against Matola Legends smashing the Portuguese speaking nation 4-3 at the Liga Persportiva Play Ground in Matola City.

The local team was established in 2007 by philanthropist, Beka Ntsanwisi after noticing a need for the elderly to keep active.
The first team was established in Nkowankowa and it gradually spread to other parts of the province including Seshego.
In South Africa the club has over 10 teams throughout the country.
In June the team was in France attending the FIFA Women’s World Cup where they spent 22 days in the European country, where they beat the French elderly team. 10-0.
One thing for sure the team team will continue influencing other senior citizens all over the world decades to come.
