“We are not just hikers, we do different kinds of things every time we meet as a team, such as walks, bungee jumping and any adventurous activities. When we meet there is great fellowship as we share ideas and talk about life while also making time to create opportunities for people to travel to new places,” said Masango.

He said that the hike was in prepration for the 100km Father’s Right Walk from Polokwane to Tzaneen in August.

The walk advocates the rights of fathers in their children’s lives and has been running for the past three years.

However in July the team will be going to Botswana for a desert walk event and they welcome anyone who is interested in joining to do so.

“A certain level of fitness is required to be a hiker, because we climb mountains and sometimes experience tough weather conditions,” concluded Masango.

For more information on all the walks follow Nyiko Masango on his Facebook page Nyiko Mr Dynamics.
