PHALABORWA: A ‘melodramatic’ day one at Foskor Primary for GR1’s

Parents across Phalaborwa had a hard time convincing sad youngsters to remain in school while teachers took the role of holding back the whimpering lads as they watched their parents ‘abandon them’ and walk away, leaving them behind with complete strangers.

Here is a slight preview of the drama…

Well, for some pupils at Foskor Primary School in Namakgale, their show of submission came in the form of a planned nap as the clock ticked away for them to re-unite with their parents.

While some pupils are crying helplessly for their parents, these pupils are happy to be in Grade 1.
She decided to take an early lunch, to deal with the emotions of her parents leaving.
After finally being restrained by his teacher, young pupil abandoned the teary technique and tried the sad facial expression.
