Tzaneen swimming clubs excel at level 2 championships
Swimmers from Shamu Swimming Club who swam qualifying times to participate in Gauteng this weekend had fantastic drops in times in the heats in the mornings and most made finals in the evening.
To make a final you have to have swum a top 10 time in the heats in the morning.
Due to constraints as a result of Covid-19, the gala was split into 2 venues – the 12 years and younger participated at Delville in Germiston and the 13 years and older swam in Pretoria The following swimmers all swam finals during the weekend:
Aeden Anderson (12), Ethan Schmidt (10), Marny du Plessis (10), Yulinke Haynes (10), Jonea Pretorius (11), Amaris Nortje (15), Mignon Smit (13), and Juan Coetzee (15).
