Exciting upgrades ahead for Herald

We here at the Herald group have been hard at work preparing a massive expansion which we can’t wait to share with you.

Yes, it is true! Making all our newspapers free was only the first step in a plan we’ve been working on to make sure we serve our communities to the best of our ability.

We would have to admit that, as with every other business in the world right now, Covid-19 did put a bit of a spanner in the works. We were however able to push on with the backing of the communities we serve and we are delighted to share the below information.

Better ways of getting news to you

We will this month be rolling out an entirely new distribution model which will make it practically impossible to miss out on your favourite Herald newspaper. Mopani Herald, Hoedspruit Herald and Phalaborwa Herald’s number of distribution points have more than doubled.

Letaba Herald will from this month be distributed to your home if you reside in or around Tzaneen, as well as to all businesses. Free of charge.

New Content

Apart from the news that matters that you have come to expect, Herald will also be introducing some new sections to all our publications. From now on every Herald newspaper will feature a wide range of local and regional news, giving you the full spectrum of useful content that matters to you.

New look

Herald will always be a traditional newspaper with roots going back more than 60 years in this area’s history. We pride ourselves on our longstanding heritage but that doesn’t mean we have to look that old. After getting a team of top designers and industry content specialists onboard, we were able to come up with a new offering that we are sure you will enjoy.

Wider reach

Letaba Herald will be expanding its distribution to 12 000 copies. Audited. Guaranteed. Weekly and FREE. This will bring the total number of Herald Newspapers to 23 000 every week.

At Herald we take our readers seriously and we have spent a lot of time listening to what you have to say. We are excited to bring you these upgrades and really look forward to hearing what you think of them.
