R30 000 bail for a 32-year-old Tzaneen man
A man residing in Tzangeni and arrested for possession of illicit cigarettes and medication, was given bail.
The 32-year-old man from Tzaneen who was arrested on possession of illicit cigarettes, was released on R30 000 bail on Thursday, 7 May.
Ayaz Lunat appeared in the Tzaneen magistrate’s court and the case was postponed until 4 June for further investigations.
Lunat was arrested on 28 April on charges of possession of illicit cigarettes, contravention of the medicine and related substances control act and selling of unregistered sexual enhancement medicine.
“The suspect was arrested at his house following an intelligence driven joint operation comprising members of the Tzaneen crime intelligence unit and cluster detectives,” said Brig Motlafela Mojapelo.
The bail conditions included the suspect handing over his passport.
